THREE siblings will share a birthday after a mother gave birth to her third child on the same date in just as many years.

    Lauren Stevenson from Dickson in North Dakota, the U.S., had child number three Sept. 1, having given birth on that date the previous two years.

    “A healthy baby boy and the fact that he came on Sept. 1, the doctors, the nurses, my husband and I — we just couldn’t believe it,” Lauren told ABC News yesterday.

    Henry Lee Stevenson was born to Lauren and father Seth on Sept. 1.

    The newborn shares the same birthday as his sister Tommie Lee, 1, and brother Axel Lee, 2.

    Dr. William Lowe of CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson delivered all three of the Stevenson babies and said the rare event was a career first.

    Lauren said when she has tried to celebrate her children’s birthdays in the past she had been in hospital giving birth, but this year there would be a party.

    “I think for their birthdays we can have one big party. If they can share together, we can do one big birthday cake.”(SD-Agencies)
