Ancient porcelain
Relics are on display at the “Maritime Porcelain Road” exhibition. The 180 exhibits showcase Chinese pottery and porcelain dating back to the Han Dynasty and Chinese made-for-export porcelain with designs commissioned by European buyers.

‘Summer Triangle’
OCAT Shenzhen presents artwork by Jon Rafman, Adrian Wong and Xie Lantian. The exhibition takes Hong Kong as a case study and explores how the cultural parallaxes in mass media construct the identity of a city.

HVOB
Austrian electronic duo HVOB will perform at Lavo. HVOB consists of Anna Muller and Paul Wallner. Since forming the duo in 2013, they have established themselves on the international electronic music scene. Their album “Trialog” released last spring gained them international recognition and was nominated for the Album of the Year award by American Thump magazine.

Hou Dengke’s photos
Photographs by Chinese photographer Hou Dengke (1950-2003) are on display. Born in a village in Shaanxi Province, Hou was a worker and later an official for a railway company. Farming and migrant workers are the themes of his black-and-white photography.
