A multimedia display of Claude Monet’s work and the environment he lived in will be held at OCT Harbor on Sept. 30-Jan. 3.
The exhibition features screens displaying paintings and photos, aiming to offer visitors a multi-sensory and interactive way to enjoy art.
With holographic projections, the images create a thrilling display that fills the walls, ceilings and even the floor — enveloping attendees in the vibrant colors and vivid details that constitute Monet’s unique style.
The exhibition will also explore the life of Monet from 1840 to 1926, his wife Camille and his friends. One goal of the show is to help interpret the thoughts, feelings and state of mind of Monet and how impressionism was expressed in his works.
Lilies and a Japanese bridge will be installed in the exhibition hall to echo Monet’s painting “Water Lilies and the Japanese Bridge.”
