
Emergency responders work near a commuter train that sits derailed near the community of New Hyde Park on Long Island in New York, the United States, yesterday. Twenty-nine people were injured. It was estimated that there were about 600 passengers on board when the first three of the train’s 12 cars derailed. The county executive said the train was traveling eastbound when it collided with a work train. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.SD-Agencies |
