    Singer to marry

CHINESE singer Jane Zhang is planning for her wedding with longtime boyfriend Feng Ke next month, although the marriage is not blessed with endorsement from the singer’s mother. The couple announced their wedding will be held in Italy on Nov. 9.

Zhang Guiying, mother of the singer, published an open letter yesterday calling Feng a liar who covered up the fact that he was still in wedlock when he courted Jane many years ago. She also claimed that Feng profited from her daughter’s singing career and stole from her earnings. Feng denied the allegations, while the singer said she is happy and has done nothing wrong. The 32-year-old rose to prominence after her third-place performance in the 2005 season of the “Super Girl” singing contest.

Zhang revealed her 12-year relationship with Feng at a concert last year, who is the CEO of Show City Times, her management company.

    Shows postponed

DESPITE a nagging ankle injury, Drake has been able to perform almost nightly for his Summer Sixteen Tour, until now.

In a message posted to his blog Wednesday, the 29-year-old rapper explained that he is postponing upcoming shows in Toronto, Philadelphia and Newark in order to give his ankle time to heal.

    Beyonce tour ends

BEYONCE wrapped up her “Formation World Tour” with onstage assists from Kendrick Lamar, Serena Williams and Jay Z, whom she kissed passionately at the end of their performance before an audience of 80,000, including Hugh Jackman, Tyler Perry and Frank Ocean.

Ballerina Misty Copeland and “Orange Is the New Black” stars Uzo Aduba and Danielle Brooks were also in the crowd Friday night at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, as Beyonce sang and danced energetically to songs from her six solo albums.

    Divers in town

RIO Olympics diving medalists who got engaged during the Games came to Shenzhen on Oct. 2 to meet their fans and tell their love stories in an event organized by Chinese skin care brand Chando in Nanshan District. Both Qin and He showed their balancing stunt in front of the fans.

He received an engagement ring from her longtime boyfriend and teammate Qin shortly after she received a silver medal for her second-place finish in the women’s three-meter springboard final at the Rio Games.
