TOM CRUISE’S latest action thriller “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” is set for a simultaneous China-U.S. release later this month.
The latest release is sequel to the 2012 film “Jack Reacher,” which also starred Tom Cruise as the title character. Both films are based on novels by Lee Child.
In “Never Go Back,” Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Military police officer, returns to his old army unit headquarters.
Facing accusations of a 16-year-old murder, he is entangled in a much deeper web of events.
The first “Jack Reacher” movie was a box office success, taking in nearly US$220 million for a budget of US$60 million.
“Never Go Back” will begin showing in both Chinese and U.S. theaters Oct. 21.
