Daredevil jumps 39 meters off building
    2016-10-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A DAREDEVIL sparked panicked calls to police after his death-defying stunt saw him jump 129 feet (39 meters) into a harbor — landing inches away from a jetty.

The mysterious man known as 8Booth made his latest stunt in Newport Harbor in California.

Jaw-dropping footage shows the thrill-seeker enter the roof of a tall building and peer over the abyss into a peaceful-looking harbor with yachts nearby.

He then makes the stomach-churning leap that lasts for four seconds.

He said, “At 120 feet you hit terminal velocity, technically I should be dead right now.”

“Yes there was actually 911 calls of a suicide jumper but the calls were canceled when people saw me hop out of the water casually.

“A girl DM’d me on Instagram also mentioning she worked in the office building and saw me fly by her window, haha.”

However, the adventurer did not completely get away with it.

He said, “I did get injured slightly on the landing because I land on my rear to break surface tension which isn’t exactly pleasant.”

Despite the danger the adventurer isn’t too concerned.

He added, “I scope out a place for a while to make sure it’s doable, once I see it is I then keep it stored in my head. When the adrenaline comes I go and jump, already knowing it’s safe and doable.”(SD-Agencies)
