Taylor Swift plays Formula One
    2016-October-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TENS of thousands packed into the Circuit of the Americas in Austin on Saturday night for Taylor Swift’s only concert of the year at Formula One’s only race on American soil.

The singer made it a night to remember: She surprised the audience with her first-ever live performance of “This Is What You Came For,” the hit Calvin Harris/Rihanna single that she co-wrote. Swift played the song on the piano, according to fan tweets.

She dazzled fans with a set that ran about 90 minutes, full of hits from her previous albums. The only stumble was a cold she said got three days earlier. At one point, she stopped between songs to blow her nose.

Formula One’s goal in booking Swift was to hook a new generation of fans to their sport in America, long considered an untapped market for the global racing series. (SD-Agencies)
