TWO procurement fairs for overseas buyers will be held during the 18th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which will take place Nov. 16-21 at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District.

The organizers will invite buyers from Europe, America, the Middle East, India, Russia and Southeast Asian countries to attend the two procurement fairs.

The high-tech fair, which covers nine halls of the exhibition center and 115,000 square meters, will attract 3,000 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions, and showcase more than 10,000 products. The products cover many sectors including electronics and information, new energy and energy-saving, advanced manufacturing, biological and pharmaceutical medicines, and medical equipment.

Foreign companies such as Qualcomm, Nafigate, Arena Innovation, Sunamp and i2CAT, and Chinese companies like Huawei, ZTE, TCL, Softstone and Hanvon will display their latest technology and products at the fair.

The fair will showcase the latest technologies in virtual reality (VR), intelligence communications, nanometer glass screen touch-control, ultra-thin color display and magnetic water purification.

The products will include robots that serve a variety of purposes; VR products such as a VR bicycle, Moon3D helmet, VR shuttle machine; phone products and wearable tech such as vivo X7, OnePlus 3; drones of different sizes and functions such as Alpha Cam, Dobby; and digital products.

For the first time, the organizers will designate an exhibition area especially for civilian and military convergence products. During the fair, the organizers will release a list of the 10 most popular high-tech products at the fair as voted by the public. So far, 280 enterprises have submitted 300 products for the public vote, according to organizers.
