Players pose at a ceremony to mark the Golfathon Grand Final at Mission Hills Dongguan on Thursday. More than 8,000 people joined the event this year, a record in its 13 years’ history. Over the past years, nearly 60,000 participants, with ages ranging from five to 85, from more than 40 countries have competed on courses designed by golf legends like Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo and Annika Sorenstam.
