Bride and her dad perform epic wedding dance mashup
    2016-11-07  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A NEWLYWED bride and her father shocked guests at a wedding by breaking away from their slow dance, and busting a move to MC Hammer and NSYNC.

Mikayla Ellison Phillips and dad Nathan Ellison are seen in the middle of the dancefloor, in front of 400 friends and family members, at her Oct. 8 wedding in Utah.

They initially started moving slowly to “Butterfly Kisses,” but quickly changed into a mash-up of “U Can’t Touch This” and “Bye Bye Bye.”

The 25-year-old bride told Good Morning America: “The most fun thing was seeing my dad and how happy he was. That was a dream fulfilled.”

They also danced to snippets from “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, “Shake Your Groove Thing” by Peaches & Herb, and “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones.

The daughter, who is a trained dancer, and her father took a week before the nuptials to plan the routine, GMA reported.

“I’m the oldest and the only girl so that was my dad’s only chance to do something like this,” she said.

“He for years has talked about doing that and he finally convinced me.”
