    Claude Monet

    A multimedia display of Claude Monet’s work and the environment he lived in is being held. The exhibition features screens displaying paintings and photos, aiming to offer visitors a multi-sensory way to enjoy art.

    Old photos of China

    More than 100 photos taken by French photographer Marc Riboud and Chinese photographer Xiao Quan in China are on display. Riboud is best known for his extensive reports on the Far East. Xiao was his assistant in China. In 1957, Riboud was one of the first European photographers to come to China and he also made several reports on Vietnam. Riboud was witness to both the Vietnamese and American sides of the Vietnam War and the Cultural Revolution in China. Later he traveled all over the world, but mostly in Asia, Africa and the United States.

    Luo Zhongli

    Luo Zhongli, a significant Chinese artist in both modern and contemporary art from Sichuan Province, is exhibiting his oil paintings and sculptures at the “Partita in Bashan” exhibition.

    Contemporary art

    Works of six contemporary Chinese artists are being presented during a monthlong exhibition. Titled “Distracted Unity,” the show brings paintings, prints, videos and sculptures by a group of artists who live in Shenzhen yet with influences that reach beyond China.
