“Clowns Without Borders,” an interactive children’s play presented by Maja-Stina Johansson Wang, will be held at Futian Cultural Hall on Fuqiang Road on Nov. 26.

    “Clowns Without Borders” offers laughter by bringing clown performances into communities so that everyone can celebrate together. Wang is an actress, director and theater teacher from Sweden and has been in Shanghai since 2006. She is currently working on her PhD in directing at the Shanghai Theater Academy.

    The show starts with lively music and proceeds with actors building towers out of blocks, which on occasion leads to the towers dramatically collapsing to the great entertainment of the audience.

    Even without words the actors are engaging and are sure to bring joy and laughter to the audience.
