EXPERTS and managers of about 20 Russian universities and scientific institutions attended a forum about Sino-Russian cooperation in education and technology, which was organized by the Russian delegation and the 18th CHTF committee Thursday.

“China and Russia are connected with each other geologically and culturally. I’m looking forward to more regular cultural communication between China and Russia. We can optimize educational resources to cultivate bilingual talents, thus deepening mutual understanding and facilitating commercial exchange,” said Rodionov Anton from Russian State University of Management.

At the forum, Anton recommended a Russian-Chinese dual degree program. His university has established partnerships with Heilongjiang University in Heilongjiang Province and Ningbo University in Zhejiang Province.

The Russian delegation took to this year’s high-tech fair more scientific and technological cooperation programs. Last year, they were more focused on promoting their education programs.
