    CESAR ACEVEDO’S “Land and Shade” was named the top winner at the Macondo Awards, the Colombian equivalent of the Oscars, on Friday night at the Faenza Theater in Bogota.

    Acevedo also picked up the best director award for his first feature film, which premiered at the Critics’ Week in Cannes, about a farming family struggling with rural abandon. Klych Lopez’s drama “Immortal” was another big winner, picking up four prizes. Next in line was Juan Felipe Cano’s thriller “The Seed of Silence,” starring huge local stars Andres Parra and Angie Cepeda, which took three awards.

    Soul singer dies

    SHARON JONES, the fiery soul singer who spent decades in obscurity before becoming a Grammy-nominated soul and funk vocalist with her longtime backing band the Dap-Kings, died Friday of pancreatic cancer. She was 60.

    Doctors diagnosed Jones with stage two pancreatic cancer in 2013. She went into remission nine months later after surgery, but announced that the cancer had returned at the premiere of “Miss Sharon Jones!,” a documentary detailing Jones’ life and career.

    Divorce

    ELON MUSK and wife Talulah Riley are officially divorced, reported TMZ. This is not the first time Musk, 45, and Riley, 31, have split: They were married in 2010, only to divorce two years later. They wed for the second time in July 2013. This past March, Riley filed for divorce.

    Musk was also married once before, to Justine Musk, with whom he shares five sons. TMZ reported that Musk was recently spotted again with Amber Heard, following her own divorce from Johnny Depp.

    Nobel Lecture

    BOB DYLAN, who was awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature but won’t be attending the prize ceremony, likely will travel to Stockholm next year and might give his Nobel Lecture then, the Swedish Academy said Friday.

    Dylan likely will give a concert in the Swedish capital, offering “a perfect opportunity to deliver his lecture,” said the academy.
