Kanye West cancels makeup LA concert
    2016-11-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

EARLIER in November, Kanye West cut his Los Angeles concert short after losing his voice mid-show. To make up for the shortened performance, he refunded the show’s attendees and scheduled a makeup concert, set to take place Nov. 20.

He offered free tickets for the makeup concert to all attendees of the original show in addition to giving away free tickets to students at inner city Los Angeles schools. He left the stage the night of the abridged concert saying, “I love you. I’ll give everyone a refund. I’ll do better next time.”

On Nov. 20, The Forum, the Los Angeles venue where the makeup show was set to take place, has issued a statement saying that the show has been canceled, and that all ticket holders will be given a refund. The news came a mere three hours before the show was scheduled to begin.

While no explanation of the cancelation has been given, it may be related to the controversial rant West delivered at his recent Sacramento concert, which ended after only three songs. Fans who attended the Sacramento date will be refunded as well.

Perhaps in an effort to shift the conversation, earlier yesterday, the Chicago rapper mysteriously added dozens of images of clothing to his Instagram account, which he had not updated since September.
