“The Taming of the Shrew” by TNT Theater from Britain will be on stage. Director Paul Stebbings recommends that even non-English speakers attend the play, because the great performances will explain the story.

    The Shakespeare play begins with a framing device, often referred to as the induction, in which a mischievous nobleman tricks a drunken tinker named Christopher Sly into believing he is actually a nobleman himself. The nobleman then has the play performed for Sly’s diversion.

    Established in 1980, TNT Theater emphasizes that plays should stimulate the imagination of the audience and should allow the audience.
