    Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica will present his classical crossover music. The program will include classical pieces such as Khachaturian’s “Sabre Dance,” Liszt’s “Totentanz,” Verdi’s “Requiem,” Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Flight of the Bumble-bee,” Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at Exhibition” and selected modern pieces composed by Tonci Hujic.

    Thousands of pots of bougainvillea, the city flower of Shenzhen, are on show at an exhibition.

    ‘Home Cinema’

    “Home Cinema” is an exhibition featuring new media art with interpretations from 17 artists from China and abroad. Different from traditional art forms, which include painting and graphic images as well as sculptures and installations, new media art is characterized by dynamic and real-time participation with customized programs producing variable results. It can be manifested in various forms, such as computer art, audio art, interactive art, virtual art and Internet art.

    ‘On the Road’

    Exhibition “On the Road” explicates from four perspectives what’s going on with contemporary sculpture art: sculpture materials, interactive functions, how sculptures co-exist with public space, and how sculptures may evolve as society develops.
