THE State planner will raise gasoline retail prices by 175 yuan (US$25.43) per ton and diesel fuel by 170 yuan per ton from today, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said in a statement on its website yesterday. The increases are the eighth upwards adjustment since the NDRC introduced a new pricing mechanism in January. The NDRC said in January that it would not lower domestic fuel prices while oil prices were below US$40 a barrel.(SD-Agencies) |
