Miss Mansfield

    Miss Mansfield is our English teacher. She only graduated from university last year and she is very young and pretty. Each time a student misbehaves in class, she would bend down and reprimand them in a nice sweet voice beside their ears.

    That was until one day when little Johnny couldn’t control himself and kissed her on the cheek!

    I’d rather not talk to him

    My dad called last night, saying he’s missing his grandson. So I asked my son to answer the phone.

    The boy refused. He said, “I don’t want to talk to him. He doesn’t know how to chat with people. Each time he asks me the same questions about my schoolwork. That hurts my feelings!”

    Distraction

    My dad doesn’t understand why I have to check my smartphone while on the computer.

    So I ask him, “Why do you have to beat me while you criticize me?”

    He answers, “Your behavior is an example of distraction but mine is an example of getting more focused.”

    Mom

    Mary didn’t do well on the exam. Her dad encouraged her, “You’ll do better next time, because failure is the mother of success.”

    Mary cried and said, “I don’t want any more moms.”
