Man photographed in lavatory for smoking
    2016-December-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AN employee, surnamed Huang, from an auto parts company in Shenzhen, was secretly photographed last week by one of his colleagues who defended himself by claiming concerns over smoking inside and fire prevention, Southcn.com reported.

In the photo provided by Huang, he was defecating with a cigarette in one hand and a cell phone in the other.

Huang described the rude incident as taking place during the noon break Thursday. He heard a click sound from above while he was inside the toilet stall, and he looked up to find that someone was taking his picture.

“He peaked his head inside the stall, and I called the police right after I discovered him,” said Huang. The employee said that the incident had severely disturbed his life and work. “The whole company is discussing this.”

The man Huang referred to was a colleague who was responsible for fire prevention and supervision of staff members to keep them from smoking inside the company building. The man who took the photo justified his action by stating that the photo was evidence to prove that Huang had violated the company’s rules.

A person in charge at the company, known as Han, responded that the company strictly banned smoking, especially in areas near the storage, and that the supervisor of fire safety did nothing wrong in attempting to collect evidence, albeit in a wrong manner.

The man who took the photo said that both he and Huang were wrong, and that he had already apologized to Huang.
