Musical couple to bring folk, Western classics

    Chinese folk singer Wang Hongwei will collaborate with Shenzhen Grand Theater Philharmonic Orchestra to present a night of Chinese folk songs, including popular ones from Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Hunan and Guangdong.

    Pianist Yang Shanshan, Wang’s wife, will play Chopin’s “Andante Spianato et Grande Polonaise Brillante in E-flat Major, Op. 22” and “Waltz in C-sharp Minor, Op. 64, No. 2.”
