Meeting observers

    THE Standing Committee of the 6th Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress is inviting 10 observers to attend its 12th meeting, which will be held between Dec. 20 and 22.

    Residents intending to attend can apply at the Letters and Visits Office of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress at the south gate of section A of the Civic Center today with their ID cards, passports and ID photos.

    Smoking ban

    ALL entertainment venues and leisure clubs will ban smoking Jan. 1, Shenzhen’s health commission said.

    The city’s smoking control office will send inspection teams and volunteers to promote the smoking ban rules at the venues.
