A CHRISTMAS jumper is on sale for the eye-watering sum of £24,000 (US$29,830).

    It might seem like a hefty price tag for an item of clothing you can only wear once a year, but this Christmas jumper is covered in 24,274 individually placed Swarovski crystals.

    Made in partnership with Tipsy Elves, the festive jumper took 52 hours to complete.

    The design features Father Christmas riding a unicorn through space. Mr. Claus carries a huge sack on his back as they fly past planets and crystal stars adorned on the jumper.
