Russian band I Am Waiting for You Last Summer and guest band Cheekbones will perform a gig at B10 Live this week.

    I Am Waiting for You Last Summer creates music at the junction of electronic, post-rock, dubstep and ambient genres. In 2011, the band became one of the residents of the indie label Flowers Blossom in the Space and released their debut studio album “Edge Party” in April 2012. Since then they have been experimenting with both the rhythmical outline of their compositions and the mood of their music. But still they manage to maintain their own recognizable music style. One of the band members, Alex Sokolov, is known for writing music for Marvel movie trailers and TV spots for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “X-Men.”

    I Am Waiting for You Last Summer has toured with post-rock band The American Dollar, played at some of the best festivals of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev with universally recognized masters such as Emika, Husky Rescue, Maybeshewill and more. In 2013, they released their second album “In Eternal Lines” which was highly rated as a unique and epic LP.

    Cheekbones is a dream pop/soulgaze band from Russia.
