    Julia Roberts is heading to the small screen.

    The actress will star in a limited series based on Maria Semple’s latest book, “Today Will Be Different,” which hit shelves in October via Little, Brown and Company. Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures has scooped up the film rights to the book and will produce the project.

    

    ‘The Voice’ crowns winner

    Sundance Head won the 11th season of “The Voice” on December 13 night. Billy Gilman came in second. The results were determined by voting and iTunes downloads.

    

    Mr. Bean in China movie comeback

    Rowan Atkinson’s iconic character, Mr. Bean, has made a movie comeback in a Chinese film.

    It’s been over 20 years since the TV series of the same name was last recorded. Since then Mr. Bean has appeared in two blockbuster films, as well as at events such as the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

    

    David Beckham proud of son’s charity work

    Former England soccer captain David Beckham said he was surprised and proud that his 11-year-old son, Cruz, had taken it upon himself to raise money for charity by releasing a Christmas single.
