THE minimum temperature in Shenzhen is expected to drop to 10 degrees Celsius tomorrow and Thursday because of cold air coming in from the north.

    Temperatures in northern and mountainous areas of the city will be 1-2 degrees lower, the city’s meteorological observatory said.

    The cold air will start affecting the city today and bring the temperature down to 14 degrees.

    Meteorologists reminded residents to maintain ventilation while taking a shower to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, keep warm and reduce outdoor activities as the hazy days increase.
