XU QIN replaced Ma Xingrui to become Shenzhen Party chief Saturday, according to the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee.

    Xu, also a Standing Committee member of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, is currently the mayor of Shenzhen.

    Ma was appointed vice governor and acting governor of Guangdong Province on Friday.
