Exhibitions in Bao’an District

    Bao’an Urban Planning

    Exhibition Hall

    Covering 5,300 square meters, Bao’an Urban Planning Exhibition Hall opened Nov. 11 inside Bao’an District Library. Visitors can explore the rich history of Bao’an through information boards, digital CG images and LED screens. Meanwhile, a digital sandbox, AR, VR and a 3D cinema also showcases Bao’an’s future plans.

    Open: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Closed Mondays

    Paintings by local artists

    More than 60 paintings created by local artists are on display to showcase Bao’an’s stunning landscape and achievements in culture and economy.

    Dates: Until Jan. 8

    Venue: Yiyong Gallery, Zhanfeng Business Building, Hangcheng Industrial City, Xixiang, Bao’an District (宝安区西乡航城工业城展丰商务大厦一雍美术馆)

    Old village photography exhibition

    More than 100 photos of old villages in Bao’an are on display. They were selected from 2,000 photos taken by 70 local photographers, writers, teachers, architects and cartoonists. They spent three months and visited 30 locations in Bao’an.

    Dates: Until Jan. 15

    Open: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Closed Mondays

    Photo exhibition of modern Bao’an

    Twelve local photographers are presenting 120 works depicting life in Bao’an District. Visitors can get a glimpse into the life of oyster farmers, migrant workers, soldiers and urban commuters, as well as the district’s picturesque landscape.
