THIS is the moment a playful young seal posed for the camera just like a model walking down the catwalk.

    The female elephant seal can be seen joyfully jumping in front of the camera, eagerly readying herself for a series of shots for a more than obliging photographer.

    The sea creature’s engaging large black eyes looked directly into the camera apparently knowing that its picture was being taken similar to a pose by model Blue Steel in the iconic movie “Zoolander.”

    Wildlife photographer and tour guide Georgina Strange captured the unique meeting on Sea Lion Island of the Falkland Islands earlier this month.

    On her Facebook page, Georgina said, “Close encounters of the cutest variety! A baby elephant seal decided to come and investigate my feet and camera at very close quarters, during my stay on Sea Lion Island.”

    “After lying on my feet for a minute and sniffing at my legs, then peering into my camera lens, he belly-flopped away to rejoin the other baby seals,” she added.(SD-Agencies)
