Pop night with Tien Fu-Chen

    TAIWANESE pop diva Tien Fu-chen, better known as Hebe, will perform a solo concert in Shenzhen on March 25.

    Born in Taiwan, Tien participated in the Universal 2000 Talent and Beauty Girl Contest in 2000. Later, she was signed as a singer and became a member of Taiwanese Mandopop girl group S.H.E. The other two members are Selina Jen and Ella Chen.

    In 2001, S.H.E released their first album “Girls Dorm.” And since 2005, the media outlets had already begun labeling S.H.E as “The Number One Girl Group.” They have won numerous music awards and are popular within the Mandarin-speaking world.

    Tien is renowned as the mezzo-soprano singer in the girl group. And Tien released her first solo album in 2010, wowing audiences with her wide compass and flexible voice.

    She was nominated for seven awards at the 23rd Golden Melody Awards including the Most Popular Female Artist Award for her second solo album.

    Her song “A Little Happiness” was nominated as the Best Song at the 27th Golden Melody Awards.
