Vintage cars

    A TOTAL of 36 time-honored vintage cars from big brands like Porsche, BMW, Rolls-Royce and Lincoln participated in a competition at the Universiade Stadium in Longgang District for the Top City Classic Rally China that ended Sunday.

    During the three-day competition, racers competed on 11 legs in these vintage cars. The carefully chosen race routes were selected to showcase the unique cultures of the district.

    Escalators renovated

    THE project to renovate escalators at Chegongmiao Metro Station was announced as completed Dec. 27 last year, 21 days ahead of scheduled.

    Chegongmiao Station is currently an interchange hub for four Metro lines.

    As Metro Lines 7 and 9 opened this year, the station now carries much more of a passenger flow burden. Thus, two escalators were added to ease the flow.
