A driverless bus with passengers on board runs in Paris on Monday. The French capital began its first experiment with driverless buses Monday, as two box-shaped electric vehicles capable of carrying around 10 people were deployed to connect two railway stations, a distance of just over 1 km. The three-month trial offers free rides seven days a week and will be expanded to other locations in the French capital later this year. The self-driving vehicles use a combination of lasers and cameras to detect other objects and people around them.Xinhua |
