北京大学深圳研究生院举办新春教职员和外籍学生团拜会

    Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (PKU Shenzhen) held the 2017 Faculty and Staff New Year party at the International Conference Hall of PKU Shenzhen on January 13.

    The party consisted of eight performances by the eight schools of PKU Shenzhen and two performances by the administrative units.

    Wu Juan, deputy director of student service office, also an organizer of the 2017 New Year party, shared that a highlight of the event was the participation of foreign faculty and staff members.

    She thoughtfully selected “China Tone,” a Chinese dance performed by the HSBC Business School, as the opening performance of the party, because a foreign professor’s two children opened the dance by reading the “Three-Character Classic.”

    It signified the influence of Chinese culture on younger generations. Also she said, the participation of foreign faculty and staff showed that PKU Shenzhen has begun to develop from an international campus into an integrated community.
