    A FIRE that occurred at a residential complex in Luohu District early yesterday morning killed four residents and injured one person, according to the Shenzhen Municipal Government’s official Weibo account.

    The fire happened in an apartment at the residential compound called Zhongtai Xiaoqu on Honggui Road in Luohu at about 5:53 a.m. yesterday. It was controlled nearly 40 minutes later and completely put out at 7 a.m.

    Four people were confirmed dead and one resident was confirmed injured in the fire that had burned nearly 70 square meters of the apartment.

    The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
