    New e-lanes

LUOHU Checkpoint saw more than 5,000 group travelers crossing the border to Hong Kong during the seven-day holiday after it introduced e-lanes for group travelers with L visas (tourism) Jan. 27.

The e-lanes greatly reduced the time it took group travelers to cross the border as it can be completed in seconds.

THE city’s human resources and social security bureau made public 24 employers that back paid employees in the fourth quarter last year.

The companies come from the sectors of food manufacturing, catering, fund management and Internet finance.

    Wetland parks

SHENZHEN will build five wetland parks, bringing the total number in the city to 13 by 2020, according to the city’s wetland resources protection plan which will be unveiled this year.

The wetland parks will be built in coordination with the treatment of rivers, such as the Maozhou River, Guanlan River, Pingshan River and Longgang River. Some wetland parks in Baguang, Dongchong in Dapeng New Area, Julongshan Park in Pingshan and Shiyan River Wetland Park are in the planning stages, according to Guo Qiang, Shenzhen Wildlife Protection Department said at an activity Sunday marking the 21st World Wetland Day.
