Traffic police officers check a taxi that was leaving the Shenzhen airport in Bao’an District in an action to crack down on unlicensed taxis Tuesday night. According to traffic police, most illegal taxis were refitted from scrapped cabs, posing safety hazards to passengers while fake cabbies are prone to rip off their customers. Public are encouraged to report unlicensed taxis to the traffic police authority.
