Relics
Lavish Tang Dynasty relics from Famen Temple in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province are on display. The relics were unearthed in 1987 from the underground palace of True Relic Pagoda in Famen Temple. The objects at the Shenzhen exhibition include three cases from the Eight-case Container, a replica of the 12-ring Khakkhara, teaware and porcelain.

Chinese paintings
“Appropriation and Transformation” exhibition features paintings by 11 Chinese masters who had been greatly influenced by their studies in Japan in 1905-1937. The 11 masters were exposed to the synthesis of Western and traditional Japanese approaches.

Photo exhibition
Photographer Christopher Taylor is exhibiting his “Steinholt” photo series at Meicheng Gallery in Longgang District.
Taylor said “Steinholt” is a photographic series inspired by a sequence of inter-connected family events through time and space. Through a series of black and white analogue photos compiled over the past five years, Taylor hopes to evoke the memory of the past, the stark natural beauty of his wife’s hometown in Iceland, and the people who continue to inhabit the landscape.

Marvel heroes
Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Wolverine — their names resound like legends. Now the Marvel superheroes are gathering at a souvenir exhibition.
