It’s not cricket!
    2017-02-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A: How is your girlfriend in Guangzhou?

B: We broke up. I sent her an email last week to notify her that it was officially over.

A: It’s not cricket! You cannot do that to a girl!

B: In fact, I met the girl online and I had been to Guangzhou twice to meet her. We had a couple of meals together and walked in parks. But I felt we didn’t match. That’s all.

Note: Cricket is an English game and was played by the lords and royalties in earlier times. Players believed in playing a fair game and never resorted to abusing, pushing, pulling or showing disrespect to any player. It was a perfect gentleman’s game. Thus whenever something seems unfair or has some element of injustice, it is called “this is not cricket.”
