“The Devil Wears Prada” is a 2006 American comedy-drama film based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel of the same name. This screen adaptation stars Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, a powerful fashion magazine editor, and Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs, a college graduate who goes to New York City and lands a job as Priestly’s co-assistant. Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci co-star, as co-assistant Emily Charlton and art director Nigel, respectively. The film was well received by both film critics and the public and became a surprise summer box-office. The commercial success and critical praise for Streep’s performance continued in foreign markets.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is a 2014 American action adventure film. The film’s voice cast includes Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Whoopi Goldberg, Abby Elliott and Tohoru Masamune. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” is a 2016 American science fiction action comedy film and a sequel to the 2014 film.
“Mr. Bean” is a 15-episode British sitcom created by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis and starring Atkinson as the title character. Based on a character originally developed by Atkinson while he was studying for his master’s degree at Oxford University, the series follows the exploits of Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as “a child in a grown man’s body,” in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causing disruption in the process. Bean rarely speaks, and the largely physical humor of the series is derived from his interactions with other people and his unusual solutions to situations. During its five-year run, “Mr. Bean” became a significant part of 1990s British popular culture.
