SZ man’s resignation letter praised
    2017-February-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A SHENZHEN man’s resignation letter has been praised by many of his colleagues and even his boss, as he wrote the letter in the classical Chinese style, according to sznews.com.

The man, who is an employee of a private company in Luohu District, said in the letter that he had worked at the company for many years, but his monthly salary was still 5,000 yuan (US$729) and he felt that his talent was unrecognized.

The 30-year-old said he was frustrated because he doesn’t have siblings and has to look after his parents on his own. He was also disappointed at the company’s leadership, because they didn’t punish those muddling through their work or reward hard-working employees.

The man’s friend, surnamed Chen, said the man was very talented and he felt bad that he hadn’t gotten paid off after years of hard work.

“He posted his resignation letter online, and many of his colleagues left comments telling him that they were loath to let him go,” Chen said. “His boss also persuaded him to stay after finding out what happened.” (Zhang Yang)
