Customs officers check imported fruit at Wenjindu Checkpoint. Shenzhen Checkpoint ranked first in 2016 in terms of the volume of imported fruit among all checkpoints in China. More than 103 tons of fruit were imported via Shenzhen Checkpoint last year, a year-on-year increase of 10.1 percent. The imported fruit was estimated to be worth 15.19 billion yuan (US$2.22 billion).
