Marine police officers examine smuggled frozen food that they seized from a ship Thursday. Following tip-offs they received Wednesday, the officers stopped the ship off the waters in Dapeng New Area on Thursday and found about 40 tons of pig feet, chicken wings and other frozen food, whose sources couldn’t been properly explained. The food was estimated to be worth more than 1 million yuan (US$146,100). The majority of the 11 crew members on the ship couldn’t present legal ID cards or legal certificates for the goods on the ship. The case is being investigated. SD-Agencies
