A bird’s-eye view of a gradient tower for meteorological observation in Bao’an District, which was put into use recently. At a height of 356 meters, the observation tower is said to be the highest of its kind in Asia and is expected to play a crucial role in the data collection related to the vertical distribution of pollutants, predictions about air pollution and decision-making related to pollution control.
