French pianist, singer, songwriter and composer Macha Gharibian will bring a night of jazz music with her trio.

    Gharibian’s music is an elegant blend of jazz, folk and pop. Her new album “Trans Extended,” recorded at Studios La Buissonne, was released in October 2016.

    Graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique, she set off in 2005 to New York City, where she learned jazz and improvisational music under the guidance of Ralph Alessi, Jason Moran, Ravi Coltrane and Uri Caine. It was in New York that she discovered a talent for improvisation, crossed the bridge between classical music and jazz and began to compose and create her own personal style.
