Pisces (Feb. 20-March 20)

Someone is going to need your help Monday, and you’ll probably drop everything else you’re doing and pitch in. You are the friend that people call when they need something, especially Wednesday. It’s nice to feel useful and all, but there’s a chance that later in the week you’re going to start to feel a little, well, walked all over. You are a friend, not a doormat. It’s an important distinction and one that you should remind people of every now and again. Keep that in mind over the weekend.

Aries (March 21-April 20)

You don’t need to take the stairs three steps at a time Monday. Yes, you’re on a quest to get ahead and make a name for yourself, but try to stay grounded as well. Tuesday and Wednesday are solid-gold days, full of accomplishment and congratulatory pats on the back. The excitement leaves you exhausted. Thursday and Friday you don’t have any energy left, so find a comfortable couch under an interesting ceiling and let your mind wander.

Taurus (April 21-May 21)

When someone launches into a mini-lecture Monday, you turn the tables on them and provide your own philosophical version of how things are. Your articulateness impresses them. Tuesday and Wednesday lack any such interactions — a squabble at work or school swallows both days. Thursday and Friday, it dawns on you that certain goals of yours aren’t impossible anymore. They may well be at your fingertips. Discuss this realization with friends.

Gemini (May 22-June 21)

There’s someone for whom you once said you’d walk to the ends of the Earth, and they say something rude Monday. This calls your friendship into question. On Thursday and Friday, you’re barely thinking about any of this, what with all the work-related confusion you’re trying to sort out. On Sunday you’re dreaming of the future, and it’s a fun activity.

Cancer (June 22-July 22)

All you feel like doing Monday is hibernating. You wouldn’t have to worry about money, first of all, which is all you think about Tuesday and Wednesday. Much to your surprise — and delight — the week changes gears Thursday, and you have all the time in the world to roam through the woods and wade through streams looking for fish (that is, if woods and streams are what you’re in the mood for). Friday is exploratory and possibly solitary as well, but Saturday and Sunday are social.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

The way to counteract any sense that you may be arrogant is to do something selfless. Consider how satisfying it would be to do someone else a favor and ask nothing in return. Thursday and Friday, when it dawns on you that you have far fewer solutions to the problems around you than perhaps you’d thought, put your energy toward something creative.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 23)

If you’ve been looking for love, it’s going to show up wrapped in packing material on your front porch Monday, or it’ll show up at your work, or at the coffee shop, you stop into on a break. It’ll show up and it’ll be exciting. Tuesday and Wednesday, buoyed by recent good tides, you itch to make a change. You feel bold and new. Thursday and Friday, relationships are a major theme. Best advice: Let bygones be bygones.

Libra (Sept. 24-Oct. 23)

The world is rocking like a boat Monday, and you’re having a hard time getting your sea legs. By Tuesday, you’re back to form. On Wednesday, creativity and connection are prominent themes — you’re the life of any party. You’re working through too much Thursday to be much for chitchat.

    Scorpio (Oct. 24-Nov. 22)

    You have the determination of a warrior Monday. Initiating new plans, maintaining the lines of communication. And these qualities extend into all areas of your life. You’re just as directed and focused in the home realm Tuesday and Wednesday, but your efforts around the house are somewhat less successful. Thursday and Friday, magically, are winners, especially in the love department. You get to dazzle someone with one of your secret talents.

    Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 21)

    You are just trying to do your thing Monday, but everyone else is driving you crazy. Toward the middle of the week, you’re going to realize that you have a lot going on in your subconscious. They know things, and they know people in high places.

    Aquarius (Jan. 21-Feb. 19)

    Be careful in business Monday. Go over all the specifics and make sure you’re well-versed in the fine print before you scrawl your signature across the line. The deal is solid and you want to feel confident about it. On Wednesday, you’re going to connect with someone you thought you had nothing in common with, and that’s going to make you feel confident as well. Clearly, you are coming into your own. You find that you are useful in the world. You know what you’re going. The weekend will be defined by a feeling of accomplishment and expansiveness.
