    German design

    With furniture designs, posters, publications, architecture models, paintings as well as photos and films arranged in chronological order in seven sections, the exhibition expounds on the 100-year history of Deutscher Werkbund, the German association for artists, architects, designers and industrialists.

    Treasures

    “Propitious Clouds Holding Up the Mount Qomolangma — Selected Artworks of Tibetan Buddhism” features 130 exquisite objects, all with great historical and religious significance. Dating back from the Yuan (1271-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, the objects offer a rare glimpse into a culture both opulent and deeply spiritual.

    Dates: Until May 3

    Piotr Kalinski

    Polish illustrator Piotr Kalinski is showing his works at the exhibition “Principio.” The works are selected from his series, such as “Life Is Elsewhere” and “Paris.”

    Luo Zhongli

    Luo Zhongli, a Chinese artist in modern and contemporary art, is exhibiting his oil paintings and sculptures at the “Partita in Bashan” exhibition.

    Photo exhibition

    Through Christopher Taylor’s black and white analogue photos compiled over the past five years, Taylor hopes to evoke the memory of the past, the stark natural beauty of his wife’s hometown in Iceland, and the people who continue to inhabit the landscape.
