Photographic works, installations, videos and sculptures created by Chinese artist Jiang Zhi are on display at his “All” exhibition. His photography series “Elegy” and “Love Letters” show the powerful sensory experience of light and fire.

Images of Chaoshan
More than 600 rarely seen images and an hour-long video of life in Chaozhou and Shantou in the early 20th century are on display. Researchers believe the video was shot in 1921-1939. The video shows signature Chaoshan-style architecture, clothes and accessories, cuisines and daily activities, extremely valuable for their research.

‘Marvelous 12’
Twelve top Chinese male table tennis players, including Zhang Jike, Ma Long, Xu Xin and Fan Zhendong, and 12 female top players, including Ding Ning, Liu Shiwen and Zhu Yuling, will gather in Shenzhen this weekend for the “Marvelous 12” competition, to win the opportunity to reach their final destination: Dusseldorf. The Shenzhen tournament will decide the players who will be selected to represent China at the forthcoming Liebherr 2017 World Championships in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Chinese paintings
“Appropriation and Transformation” exhibition features paintings by 11 Chinese masters who had been greatly influenced by their studies in Japan in 1905-1937. The 11 masters were exposed to the synthesis of Western and traditional Japanese approaches.
