Factory owner detained

    A FACTORY operator surnamed Sun in Songgang, Bao’an District, was detained for five days for illegally storing 3 tons of flammable products Thursday.

    Police officers found 200 barrels of toxic, flammable methyl methacrylate in the warehouse of the factory.

    Cargo flight to Jakarta

    A CARGO route from Shenzhen to Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta was officially put into operation Wednesday, bringing the total overseas cargo routes at Shenzhen airport to 16.

    The cargo flight is operated by Jakarta Cardig Air, whose service network covers Asia.

    There are five flights operating every week, Shenzhen airport said. The air cargo routes have connected Shenzhen with 16 cities including Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Sydney and Dubai.
