    Beach park reservation

    DAMEISHA Beach Park, which is under renovation, will adopt an online reservation mechanism to limit the number of daily visitors when it is put into operation in May, a meeting of Yantian District Government said Friday.

    Yantian District Government invested 130 million yuan (US$18.85 million) last year to renovate the beach park by adding toilets and shower rooms, as well as improving the water and electricity supply networks and landscaping.

    Frozen meat seized

    THE Guangdong coast guard seized 600 tons of smuggled frozen meat, with a market value of 10 million yuan, from a ship in the sea off Dapeng Peninsula on Saturday.

    A total of 12 suspects, all foreign nationals, were held for investigation.

    Customized buses

    SHENZHEN Bus Group opened two customized bus routes, H61 and H62, in Pingshan District. Riders can download the bus group’s app to reserve tickets.

    H61 covers 40 kilometers between Pingshan government building and Changling East Bus Terminal and has 12 stations. A one-way trip costs 9 yuan and takes 60 minutes. H62 runs 21 kilometers between Kengzi and Universiade Metro Station and has 14 stops. The trip costs 3 yuan and takes 40 minutes.
